Podcast: WEIRD RELIGION

I co-host a podcast with my colleague Leah Payne, called “Weird Religion.” We examine artifacts at the intersection of pop culture and religion, often through the lens of some piece of popular TV or film media—episodes focus on TV shows (Black Mirror, House Hunters) and documentaries (Wild Wild Country). We explore topics such as bioethics, UFOs, starting and maintaining a cult, ancient forgeries, romance, the Bible, mountain climbing, and war. We comment on current news stories about religion and Christianity. And we interview authors, directors, actors, and scholars.
